Why LegalPAZ exists

Plenty of people with real legal problems never get help because a law firm feels too expensive or too intimidating for a traffic ticket or a $3,000 dispute. Arizona created the Legal Paraprofessional license for exactly these cases: licensed, regulated help in defined areas of law, at a price that makes sense for the size of the problem.

I started LegalPAZ to do that work well. I supervise every matter the firm takes on and appear in court for our clients. If we can help, you get the scope and fee in writing before anything starts. If your matter is outside what LegalPAZ is licensed to handle, we will tell you plainly and point you somewhere useful.

Civil matters within the justice court’s $10,000.00 jurisdictional limit (A.R.S. § 22-201) are handled by LegalPAZ. Matters exceeding that limit are referred to an Arizona licensed attorney or other attorney when appropriate.

Before law

I spent about 20 years as an independent process server, which put me inside courthouses and in front of litigants every week. I also have a background in IT and have taught computer skills to adult learners, which is a large part of why I explain the legal process in plain language.
